Hi Ankit, as being a newbie blogger I was not aware of this. Your article gave me a good idea to make my articles totally error-free.

After checking your article, I tried Grammarly. I found so many errors in my article. This is truly an awesome tool for all who want to find and correct their Grammatical errors. College students, writers, and even teachers can use Grammarly because it offers plagiarism checker tool too.

Thanks for writing this honest review of Grammarly.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

      Hi Soumyakanti,

Thanks for your comment and I’m glad to know that you are enjoying Grammarly premium account.

It checks 250+ errors in no time. I’m agree with you that it is a must have tool for students and teachers. Students can easily make their essays flawless and teachers can easily check them for plagiarism.

People who face problem in English language must use Grammarly at least once to check how it helps them to find and correct their writing mistakes.

Thanks for reading this review and commenting.

  2. Sagar Desai says:

    Hi Ankit,

This an awesome post on Grammarly. Currently I am using Ginger to correct spellings and grammatical mistakes. But it doesn’t help to get rid of plagiarism.
Grammarly could be the better option over Ginger.

I have one confusion. Is grammarly free or paid?

    Thanks buddy.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

      Hi Sagar,

I have been using Grammarly from a long period of time and found it pretty helpful.

If offers both the plans. You can use Grammarly for FREE which will allow you to check your Grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes.

If you go with their premium version, you get additional features like vocabulary enhancement and Plagiarism detection. Give it a try and definitely you will love it.

      Best,
      Ankit

  3. Hi Ankit,

Good Post. One of the worst things about making these mistakes is that we know better. My hands seem to have a mind of their own sometimes and even as I THINK the right spelling I’m typing the very thing I know is wrong. PS: excuse me if there is grammar mistakes 🙂

To me, I’m unaware if I’m using “on” or “at or “by or “for” wrong! I have to have someone else proofread it to let me know that I’m not saying a phrase right. So for that, what I could do at a moment. Magic of google comes in place and I think most of them use a trick google as personal editor, to speed up editing when we’re stuck and when you can’t find the right way to frame with grammar.

Thanks for your review on “Grammarly”. I will definitely use and let see.

    Thanks for sharing this info,

    Siva

    1. Ankit Singla says:

      Hi Siva,

I’m absolutely agree with your point that we all learn from our mistakes. Doing mistakes and then correcting them actually makes us better at every step.

Using Google as a Grammar checker tool, is no doubt a smart way.

Thanks for your comment and don’t forget to share your experience of using Grammarly. 😉

  4. Hi,

    Sounds very interesting.
Would you know if they have a WordPress plugin?

    1. Ankit Singla says:

They don’t have any plugin but yes they offer a Chrome extension. Adding chrome extension to your browser will enable you to check your content anywhere on the web. Emails, facebook status and comments, etc. It checks your content every time you write something. Isn’t it great 🙂

  5. Hello Sir can u pls tell me the license of Grammarly per user or pls tell me how much user we can access one time.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

      Hi Mukesh,

You can use Grammarly unlimited times. There is no limit.

You can keep using Grammarly free account but in case if you need premium account (which offers more awesome features), you can upgrade your account anytime. 🙂

  6. Prashanth K says:

Great review of what Grammarly can do.

Though Grammarly has its share of cons, I loved the way it introduced contextual corrections. For e.g. Grammarly can detect when I write “lonely vacation” instead of “lovely vacation”. For me, the premium version was well worth its price due to the advanced grammar/spell checks, and the plagiarism checker. Though it is no Copyscape, it certainly is good enough for my clients.

The renewal at the normal $139 was a pain, but your 25% Grammarly promo code helped to save huge money.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

      Hi Prashanth,

Thanks for sharing your real-experience with Grammarly. I’m 100% agree with you.
Grammarly free account offers nice features but as you are using Grammarly premium account, more advanced features are expected.

Enjoy with your Grammar checker and ProofReader i.e Grammarly ^_^

      ~ Ankit

  7. Akhilesh gupta says:

    Hi Ankit,
Grammarly is one of the great tool for error-free article.

The best part is it even gives us an explanation how something is wrong, why it is wrong and how to correct it, therefore give us a chance to learn and not make same mistake again.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

      Hi Akhilesh,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Grammarly here.

I’m glad to know that you are making good use of it. 🙂

  8. Um…you say in your call to action that Grammerly is Free. It is not Free. Very misleading, and disappointing. I’d suggest you remove that verbiage.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

Of course it is free Rob. You are not forced to upgrade your account to premium. You can do only if you need that 🙂

  9. Serena Brown says:

    Hi Ankit,
I have a question that, seeing as how you have extensively used Grammerly, I feel you could answer. I have had several of my classmates talk of using Grammerly for their dissertation paper. I would like to know if you have an opinion on this type of application for Grammerly. Also, I have “played” around with it some, just uploading bits and pieces of my paper into the website checker. Is Grammerly only available through a login? Or is it available as a installed software? As wifi is becoming ubiquitous, this is not much of a problem. However, I am a little unsure of exactly how it runs in the background. I use, at present, four machines at different times, depending on location, to write. Basically, I need some guidance, if you feel comfortable giving it, in whether Grammerly would fit into these situations. Sorry, but I am new at writing in this arena (dissertation type). I usually write, build and implement laboratory experiences for robotics applications…big difference for me now.

    Much Thanks!
    Serena Brown

  10. Bill Folger says:

Beware of the typical Grammerly internet scam. If you sign up for the free trial, the fine print says they will keep charging you month after month unless you can find the hidden icon to terminate the free month.

I thought they were really better than that. I was wrong about that.

  11. Prem Chauhan says:

    Hi, Ankit,
Thank you so much for giving this idea to us through this I can write my blog error free.

and it is free also then it is a offer for us.

  12. Mike McHugh says:

    Hi Ankit,

I am a technical writer. Thanks for your review. It appears that you did not use Grammarly to check your review OR Grammarly missed the typo in the following sentence: “our” should be “out”.

Unlike Microsoft Word, Grammarly not only points our errors, it also lets us know the type of error made by us in our writing.
Either way, it seems to me that humans make the best final edits.

    Thanks again.

  13. Mark McKnight says:

I read through your article and the first question that came to my mind was – Is Grammarly really 10 times better than using the grammar checker in word processing software like MS Word? Have you tested it? I quite like the idea of it, especially with how Google ranks quality writing at the moment.

  14. Rohit Singh says:

Thanks Ankit for this review I think to improve the quality of our blog post we must check the grammar mistakes on our articles so that It sounds Good when our readers are reading our content.

  15. Swapnil Jagtap says:

  16. salek ahmed says:

  18. Naman Kumar says:

    Hi sir,

Well, i m using Grammarly form last three month now, and it works pretty well for me. If you need grammarly for free, then I arrange a giveaway on my blog so join it and get free Grammarly Premium Account With Lifetime Validity

  23. A nice review of Grammarly Ankit. Grammarly is a must use tool for all those whose first language is not English. I use Grammarly premium account and I am getting a lot of advantage from Grammarly. Grammarly not only finds out the error but also lets you know the reason of our error. It lets you think which should be the correct one. Which helps you learn about the error and this is less likely that you will make the same mistake again.

  24. Hi, Thanks for an excellent review! I thought you’d like to know that at one point you say, ‘I must say, it’s a best sentence checker tool.’ When you’re talking about the ‘best’ of something – in English we say ‘it’s the best’ instead of ‘it’s a best’. One thing is ‘the best’. If instead you meant to say there are other tools that are equally as good as Grammerly you could say, ‘one of the best’ which means there are more than just one best tool. Thanks again for well done review.

    1. Ankit Singla says:

Thanks for your suggestion, T Smith. I have corrected it. 🙂

  25. Hello. Very good post actually. I found this program very useful, especially for non-English speakers who is writing research in English.
Also I heard about program Turnitin, similar to Grammarly, do you have any idea about it?
